A visit with an old family friend, to start. Fellow author, and dungeon master of the circle. Five hours to drive out, six hours to sit and visit at his house, to reminisce miscellaneous items, but mostly to trade tales of old D&D adventures. Five hours back, and a visit with his brother. Great opportunity to practice the swordplay, though I do admit I miss the bow and arrow I am so accustomed to.
Within a day, I'm back home. I've begun a game of Pokemon, because apparently I've had this game for years and was somehow unaware of its existence. At the same time, I've picked up an old, yet new, MMO, known as Air Rivals. Lots of flying around and shooting at people and random creatures. I believe Remmy would enjoy it. It's only a gig-and-a-half, something the dinosaur in his room could handle, I'm sure. Take note, Remmy!
Just now realizing another friend is on here, a friend whom I've been meaning to look up for quite some time. I should do that now...
...
And with that done, I continue reading The Magician, sequel to The Alchemyst, by none other than Michael Scott. Fuck my life. The irony of it all: I have the first book. For those of you who are unaware of my association with that name, 'twas to be the pen name I was going to use when/if I ever got my stuff published. You'd think I'd realize that all this time, it would've dawned on me sooner, but alas! With little success thus far have I found a new name. Mayhap something of Norwegian origin for someone such as myself? I do believe it would be quite fitting. Maybe something along the lines of Yngve Waldemar Søren Holt. Has a certain ring to it... Certainly unique, anyway.
And for those of you wondering, fuck yes, I AM doing all of the things below at once, as well as typing this up.
I also believe I should have some form of signature for these things... Something... I dunno. Me. I believe I've got it:
Sender of the Moosen, yo.

"I wonder what's in a book while it's closed. I know it's full of letters printed on paper, but [..] something must be happening, because as soon as I open it, there's a whole story with people I don't know yet and all kinds of adventures and battles."
